Engela James writes:
I rescued 16 cats from a rescue centre, but only 13 survived. Three of them were so sick that they had to be put down immediately. When I found them they suffered from diseases such as snuffles and severe diarrhoea and were emaciated and malnourished.

They had been sterilised before we rescued them, and the stitches weren’t removed, causing even more wounds of which some turned into abscesses. One particular kitty, Patches, was so traumatised that her hair started falling out and she had bald spots all over her body. The veterinary costs eventually added up to over R16 000, which I paid myself.

Oscar

Sophie

All the kitties have been homed, except for the last two – Sophie and Oscar (two years old). They are beautiful, loving and kind kitties. They are sterilised, inoculated and tested negative for Feline Aids and Leukaemia. They have been with me for over six months, but due to personal and health reasons, I can no longer keep them and urgently need to find them loving homes. They are brother and sister and love each other dearly, so it would be perfect if they can go together.

Oscar has a chronic herpes infection in his one eye and would need eye drops (one a day) for the rest of his life. I will make sure that the new mommy receives it from me for the rest of his life.

If you are interested in adopting them, phone me at 083-468-3143.
