Disgusted from Zwavelpoort writes:
We would have loved to advertise our fishing venue in April, but due to the disaster of the Zwavelpoortspruit (as per your article on the sewage pumping out of Mooikloof Ridge Estates), we won't have anything to advertise.

Our dam looks like sh*t (pardon the pun), and that's our main business which also effects the accommodation. This morning (24 March) they are finally repairing the problem. All of the necessary people were there, such as M&T, the body corporate of Mooikloof Ridge Estate, Kungwini, etc.

I cannot believe how many people all refuse to take ownership of this problem. Kungwini blames M&T, Tshwane blames Kungwini, the body corporate blames everyone else. Try phoning anyone? They never return calls. I shudder to think what our phone bills will look like at the end of the month.

And what happens if this occurs again? Is it going to take another month before anyone takes ownership of the problem?

We will have to see what the river looks like in about a month. We wanted to restock the dam just before the Easter weekend, but we're not putting R3 000 worth of fish into sewage.

I, for one, will lose a huge amount of business thanks to the ineptness of certain people. The services in this province are appalling or rather non-existent, to say the least.
