Stefan Ackerman from Kungwini Welfare Association writes:
Many may know about the criminal activity that took place in the Zwavelpoort, Boschkop, and Mooiplaats area throughout the year. You may also be aware that Kungwini Welfare Organisation / Paul Jungnickel home fell victim to an armed robbery earlier this year.

We pride ourselves in touching the lives of those in need, and making a difference in people’s lives. Part of the change that we would like to make is to provide them with the safest environment possible.

We have 140 permanent residents in the Paul Jungnickel home for disabled adults, and they are unable to defend themselves. The organisation does not have the funds to do security upgrades, which will ensure the maximum safety of our residents and grounds.

With Project 10111 we aim to raise the funds we need to do the necessary security upgrades to keep our residents, and children safe from possible crimes or attacks.

I am ecstatic to report that we have raised enough money with this project to start phase one of our security upgrade. We still have a very far and expensive way to go before reaching our goal, but with the support of our big-hearted friends, I know we will get there.

We are asking that each person contributes only R101.11 towards the project as a donation into our Trust Account: PJ Trust; Absa Bank; Account: 405 189 5616; Branch: 632005; Reference: 10111.

It may also be delivered personally to the organisation. Kindly e-mail proof of payment to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we may thank you, and keep you updated with our security upgrades.

The organisation can issue you with an article 18 A certificate, which will allow you to claim back a percentage of the donation from tax.
